It sounds like the CPR is doing its job and leaning off the mixture
which will change the idle. Still reckon on the idlespeed ECU but withut
seeing it, it's tough to say. Speaking with my company hat on - wouldn't
it be easier to spend £120 on a transporter? (but I would say that!)
Diagnosis is usually free and of course I have everything on the shelf
(and other running cars) to play "spot the difference" with! It's
sometimes a false economy to keep throwing time, effort, frustration and
money at a problem when you can get together with someone else, be it a
specialist, or another owner who's in-the-know (like Nick).

Just a thought, I know we're at the wrong end of the country!
