Re: [doc] Best car ?

Hi all

just looged back on after a few days as had a bit!! of food
poisoning.
some dodgy burgers i think.
just wanted to clear things up about 'imports'.
i have/had a part time business importing jap cars (mainly roadsters
but had a skyline, pajero).
there are a lot of misnomers regarding their cars.
many are excellent, well looked after, low miles, can be very
modified!.
their MOT called shaken is very strict and hence their car servicing
is better than ours and it gets more expensive to put through the
shaken at (i think) three and six years), big fee is payable up
front.
therefore many cars are traded at the four or six months with
australia and UK being a big market.
many Uk dealers now service and supply parts-no problem.
my R32 skyline-a fantastic car had a broken air vent-a trip to the
very helpfull nissan dealer, Jap vin number and 2 dyas later a new
one!!. what service.

so for £5000- if you want to be different, a skyline R32/R33 (180-
300 BHP), or an evo 4, or figaros are excellent (1.0 turbo all auto,
all convertible) or an MRT GT (with a turbo 0-60 in 5.5) or a 95 ish
Ford Mustang (get the V8) or a 280 bhp rotary RX7 (but must have low
miles or rebuild!)

hope i haven't bored everyone.

No front end
1/2 an air intake system
