Phil

Have you got a PermaBag style chamber which uses a water trap cylinder
rather than active airflow?

The strong petrol (petrol/chemical) smell is very common and appears to
come from the bag itself.

After a long chat to the people at Carcoon this is one of the things
the advert doesn't warn you about. I have found that having extra
desecant cyclinders has reduced the problem slightly, but it may just
be that my Permabag is just ageing.....

post up and see if anyone has any ideas. Hereâ??s the situation: My D
lives in an indoor Carcoon-style air chamber when itâ??s not being
used. This weekend I opened up the Carcoon after the car had been sat
in there for about two weeks. As soon as I opened the access flaps on
the air chamber I was met by a very strong smell of petrol fumes.
