RE: [doc] De Lorean in bilboard advert!

I?m interested in any of the RHD?s Thomas, 
 
That car has always had a special place in my heart as it featured on
the cover of Motor Makers in Ireland. I know it was borrowed from the
factory for the photo shoot.  
 
 Eventually it was sold at auction, then went eventually a young chap in
London (£31K)  in 1990, who?s  Barrister dad insisted it have a
?English? registration number. It was subsequently issued with MGJ 126Y.
 
When young Martin tried to get it insured at the age of 18, the cost was
£5k!   He could not afford it, then laid it up in one of his dads lock
up garages where it has been ever since.  The garage was slowly melting
around it when I last saw it in 2001. (see mag number 19) .
 
 It is one of the three factory RHD?s, its brother was sold recently by
Bonham?s and bought by a club member (was AXI 1697 now SOA 82Y).  Its
twin sister is my Delores who still proudly displays its original
Northern Irish reg number AXI 1698. 
 
And before you ask, no he won?t sell!  I?ve kept in contact, tried to
get him to restore it?..he says it?s his dream car still. 
 
If the owner/ artist wouldn?t  mind, I?ll like a good quality photo of
the picture, I could then forward it on to Martin, you never know, it
may spur him into action.

No problem Chris, I'll get pics tomorrow. 
Are you aware of the painting of a De Lorean in an MOT centre here in
Belfast? The numberplate is AXI 1699 (one of the RHD's?). I seen it on
the day I went down to get a form for MOT'ing my own car. It looks
great, would like to know who painted it, and when.

Was just sitting at traffic lights tonight, and looked up at a billboard
advertising a petrol station I think it was...newho, it had James Bonds
Aston Martin, the Mustang from 'Bullit', the truck from 'Christine', and
of course a De Lorean with all the BTTF bits! Just wondering if this is
Chris Parnhams?
On the way up the road I seen it on a different bilboard, except it was
the back of all the cars. I will get pictures tomorrow even if I look
like an idiot lol.
