[doc] OT - Buying cars in general

Dear all,

Sorry to post off topic stuff, but I need advise
before buying a 'student' car.

My choice is either Peugeot 106 or 306, but I haven't
got much idea about the difference (price/ mpg...
etc)between a diesel and a petrol. I was told that
diesel gets more mpg but need more frequent
servicing?? All I am totally sure about is that petrol
cars don't make as much noise comparing to diesel...
