I believe the baffles were always an "extra" item, never included in the tanks,...but I'm not an expert on them...all I know for sure is these tanks are the "real thing"!
 
I think the part number is 101013...

What exactly is wrong with the early '81 fuel tank baffles? Would it be easier to replace the whole tank seeing as you have sucha  good price :-) ?
