Assuming you have a 5 speeed manual the switched is located on the gearbox
on the nearside (LH), there is a rubber cover with 2 spade connectors
inside..check they are tight and making good connection. Worst case the
switch is bad though I never heard of one going out...they are $18

Subject: [doc] Reversing Lights
Hi all!
As #1772 prepares for her first MOT I have noticed that the reverse lights
have suddenly stopped working. I have checked the light boards and bulbs at
the rear and all appears to be ok. So, I assume there must be a
connection/spring around the gear stick area that makes contact once reverse
gear is engaged?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Peter
