A very successful and Busy NEC. 3 days of hard work and great fun.

Highlights for me? There were so many this time, its very difficult to
  single some out.

Seeing Alistair (and his young brother) and of course Pilot 25.

Seeing Brendan Montgomery (former test driver of the pilot cars) getting
  on so well with Alistair.

Meeting and talking to Mr Clive Chapman on the stand an reminiscing
  about his late father.

Seeing Andy Snell's new poster (with all the famous signatures it has
  already attracted).

Meeting and signing up former DeLorean senior manager(1978-83), Barrie
Wills. Barrie's memories of the Pilot and the RHD drive cars was a
revelation to me and others. With many more revelations to came!

Meeting numerous suppliers of DeLorean parts from the locality,
apparently the DeLorean steering wheels were made within 10 miles of the
NEC and the factory only closed a few weeks ago!

Phil Peters shindig was very popular on the Saturday where everyone
  enjoyed them selves.

Glen brought along his new "low cost, high Tech" tracker.

James RG brought his new cast alloy rear number plate surround.

Meeting all the club members and putting faces to names, some of whom
had travelled great distances to attend, braving atrocious weather.

The very successful AGM, thanks for all you suggestions and support.
I'm looking forward to planning our spring 2006 celebrations at the
birth place of our cars.... Lotus.

Apparently we won another prize, but due to duff info given to our
attendee's at the ceremony, they left before it could be presented!

A big thank you to all the usual stalwarts  of the club especially John
Chapelhow, Claire and Dave, Alistair, etc who spent the full three days
there and Mark, Chris, Dave and all the rest who helped man the stand,
as well put up it up and take it down again.. I can't mention you all,
but you know who you are.

  Regards
  Chris Parnham
