Hi Nick

There's no adjustable pot, only a potential divider of about 10:1
meaning the input can't be 12v. The signal generator Joe has doesn't
generate a steep enough ramp for something to work (don't know exactly)
even though he has built an amplifier to give him 50-odd volts.

My one piece of advice regarding Gunson equipment is that it's great if
you only expect to use it once or twice. Any more than that and it'll
fall apart or fail or both.
