RE: [doc] Headliner Material



The headliner material is available from Dave Howarth.

It's about 40quid and there's plenty enough to do both doors and both
roof sections. If you're careful with it you can eek out enough spare to
do another two door liners!

He also supplies the 'underlay' so you get that nice thick padded
effect, although I didn't use it on the roof as it disguises the
rectangular dimple in the middle.

The material is stuck to the boards using spray glue. DON?T USE MAFCO
SPRAY ADHESIVE as sold by many motor factors. It sticks great and looks
the biz for about 6 weeks, then it all falls off!!! Avoid carpet glue as
this stuff squirts like 'silly string' and leaves lumps under the
material.
See if you can find a local upholstery place, they should be able to
sell you something good.
