Rick,

In the summer I use my D more than my other car and never find it a problem.  
I actually think it does the cars good to be used regularly.  I did consider 
having it as my only car but I didn't want it to deteriorate and I couldn't get 
unlimited mileage insurance.  I am reluctant to drive it in the winter as the salt 
could make a bit of a mess of the chassis.  It is hard to keep a car looking mint 
and use it every day as there'll be wear and tear on the interior, parking dings, 
stone chips and stuff.
