As Elvis notices lack of accurate info can produce an inaccurate
reply.
Though I am not sure what Joe means by "disconnecting the idle motor"
Elvis bases his response on diconnecting the feed cable.
What if Joe wanted to say "dismount the idle motor"?
In that case there is IMO a huge vacuum leak through the auxilliary
pipe which could cause the engine to shut down.
Now it's up to Joe to clearify what he meant.
