Thanks David and all. My concern is not spilling hot oil on the frame
and myself. Of course I would have to get under there to change the
filter. While I am down there I would remove the drain plug and drain
out whatever dribbles are left. It's a sudden flow of hot oil that
concerns me. Most instructions I have seen say let the car run for
five minutes then drain. That means the oil will be hot enough to be
dangerous for little old me. :-)
