I bought a car with over 60,000 miles, a history as a daily driver, and
a (nearly) fully-documented repair history because I didn't want a car
with the problems incurred by sitting. I never had the intention of
entering the car into a competition of any kind, nor selling it to a
museum or collector.
There are two different kinds of "value" in my opinion -- monetary value
and driveability value -- and the higher one is, the lower the other is
likely to be.
So I'd pick the car with more miles. That's my opinion.
