In - say 1984-85 - there was a Domino Pizza DeLorean in Houston that
I looked to buy. It was driven to deliver Pizza and the alternator
belt had broken. They tried to continue to drive it to get the pizza
delivered on time. Well, needless to say, the engine was trash. At
the time it was owned by a Domino's franchisee and it was put to
salvage - I made a bid that was too low but I think it went for maybe
$6,000. The paint job however, was impressive and very well done.
My point - there have been others. I would not put a lot of value in
the Domino's thing - just the opposite for me.
