If I remember correctly, it was just one spot where he had to cut a 
small section of frame out to fit the mount or some such part of the 
transmission.  I also seem to remember that he beefed up the section of 
frame that he had to cut in order to make up for the missing material.

I remember seeing pictures and it was very well done and not really all 
that noticeable or "hacked"-looking.

Wish I could still find the pics... sorry.
