[DML] Re: Fanzilla Failure??? UPDATE

After alot of troubleshooting (Thanks Rob) I found that the problem
was not the fanzilla but the connection in the washer compartment
where the main harness meets the front harness. The connection
looked like the terminals on a battery with corrosion. I cleaned
them and everything started working..
NEW PROBLEM::
After getting the fans back on I discovered the compressor clutch
was not always engaging. After metering it I found it was getting
power but because of the gap it wasn't pulling in. I had a local AC
shop remove a shim and it started working fine.. AND NOW THE
PROBLEM:: After a few days of working fine the AC would no longer
come on at any fan speed or mode setting. The door unlocked light
also went out so I knew it was the fuse. I discovered the #10 20amp
fuse was blown and replaced it. After another day it blew again. Now
it blows after only about 15 minutes. I don't want to put a larger
fuse in if there is another problem. Any thoughts on what would
cause the #10 fuse to blow? Is it a clutch issue?? Should there be a
25amp fuse there?? I am in South Florida and it has been a sauna
here and I am driving to work every day in a shirt and tie.. HELP

prefer not to have the light on unless it is a failure. I look at
the lights as "idiot lights" and feel I should not see them unless
something is wrong.
