Nick, I wouldn't top off the tank. If you don't have a tight fit around the
return line where it comes through the boot gas will come up the line due to
pressure and heat.
The boot around the lip of the tank has to be tight and seated properly and
then the clamp and then the covering over that. I see the clamp over the cap
and the fit isn't as good.
