Yes I'm sure the word "DeLorean" startled the folks at Bobsspeedometer.com. Back
in Dec. of 2003 they charged me $65 and it took about 5-7 minutes for the tech to
recalibrate my "DeLorean" gauge. 

It's magnet driven (no gears to change) so all they do is spin it up to speed and
turn an adjustment screw.
Tell them the speedo is a "GM" supplied, "AC Sparkplug Division" speedometer.
Also remind them they did mine with no worries.

I am considering the 160 mph version, but I am having a difficult time 
finding someone who will be able to recalibrate my existing speedometer 
for a reasonable price.  As soon as I say "DeLorean", the price seems 
to go up.  I called bobsspeedometer.com and was told that it would 
probably cost about $120, but that they would not be able to tell me 
for sure unless I sent them the speedo to look at.
