[DML] Tie Rod is off ....

Thanks for all for the input. Here is how it went...
I had been hitting it pretty hard before the post with the lower arm
supported by a block of wood. I put the nylock back on and used it to save
the thread.
So after the readings, I decided to hit it some more and a bit harder.
After a while it did come off. Then when I tried to remove the nut it spun
the stud. I put some weight on the joint to hold it secure in the steering
arm and kept it from spinning. Seemed ridicules that I had worked so hard
to get it released only to need to tighten it up to get the nut off.
I'd put new ones on now but the wife is a little irritated about the
"mystery boxes" that keep showing up. I'll save that for later.
