Don Steger (DeLorean Motor Center CA) has done several of these. Rich
W has one here that I've played with too. A popular conversion is/was
the 3.8 Buick Turbo engine from the mid-80s Grand National. A
bellhousing is (or was) available for the conversion. It's an easy
engine to make lots of horsepower and fits pretty well, but the trans
can suffer if you get carried away.
Steger is the expert on this one, but several have done it.
