Yes, I removed the intake manifold, I replaced the O-rings for the 
cold start valve, idle speed motor, the 6 main-o-rings, the two o-
rings and spacers in the the U-pipes, the gaskets for the U-pipes, 
and the main gasket for the air meter unit. 

To clean the injectors, i just sprayed them with carb cleaner to get 
the deposits off the sides, i was careful not to get any debris on 
the ends. I reused the old injector retainer clips.

I have not checked the timing yet, I will do that and the spray test 
you mentioned. Thanks for the help!
