This is by far the best description of the legal situation that I have
ever read. The major judgment against Arthur Anderson stems from the
DeLorean Motorcars Company, not John DeLorean himself. As accountants
for DMC, Arthur Anderson signed off on the accounting practices it used.

Most newspaper stories do a poor job of explaining the separate fates of
DMC and John Z. DeLorean, but this one does it well. Everyone should
read it.
