I was glad to see this question ask. I have the same
problem. When you first start to start the car it
goes dead for about the first 5 or 6 times that you
try to start it. Then when it cranks it will idle
until you attempt to give it gas. As soon as you press
the gas pedal the car will die. When you let it run
for a min. or so then it is fine. Question #1-Where is
the warm up regulator, could it be defective? My
injectors have been changed so I do not believe that
it is an injector problem. Could it be something else
other than an injector or warm up regulator? Is the
fuel pump electric? Could the fuel pump have something
to do with it? (It runs fine after it is warm) Is
there an adjustment to make the engine run more rich
or lean and where is it located? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
