35 mm is 1.378, or just .003 larger than 1 3/8", which is what I used.  
I found a nice 6 point socket at McMaster Carr, the socket I was using 
was 12 point.  Still don't know if when I'm loosening the Nut if I'm 
really tightening it (is it left hand or right hand thread).  
Frustrating when you have a 1 3/8" socket on a 3/4" drive and a breaker 
bar, and still can't get if loosened.
