RE: [DMCForum] BTTF issues.... Man am I tired

AH! Now I get it. They could have just got some gas and been out of there.
Then again, if they mixed the gas together with what was already in the car
as in same matter in same space they could have destroyed the entire
universe. Granted, that is the worst case scenario.

You could also theorize that had they disturbed the car stored in the mine
there is a chance it wouldn't have survived until 1955. They knew as it sat
then that it would but perhaps going back in the mine could have made
something unstable enough to the car didn't survive for 1955.

That did hurt the brain a bit. Just what I needed this late. ;)

You're not thinking 4th dimentionally.

Yes but the 1885 car was not the same one that was in the mine... That one
was a past version. The timeline has the car going back from 1955 (end of
part II) to 1885 where it sat for 70 years before Doc and Marty dug it out.
Then it went back to 1885 to save Doc. In the mine in 1885 is a perfectly
good DeLorean sitting there only a few months old with a tank of gas. All
they needed to do was fix the fuel line and take a gallon or so of gas from
the mine car, that would still keep it ready for 1955 marty to dig it up and
run it back to 1885.

Boy that was circular...

Wasn't the fuel line damaged in 1885 when the arrow hit the car? In 1955
the gas left over from 1885 would have been bad, and we all know the tank
would have needed a thorough cleaning. DMCH's tank kit hadn't been created
yet. :)

Ok so here is the situation... After a nice date night with my wife we sat
down and are watching BTTF III on tv...romantic huh?? Lol The kids are
enjoying it.

Well I have a question.

Marty breaks a fuel line in the 1955 DeLorean so no gas... Why don't they
take some fuel from the car that's stored in the mine? Further where did
they get fresh gas in 1955? Was there unleaded gas in 1955?

Stop me if this has been covered, and the answer "cause the movie would be
short" won't cut it lol.
