[DMCForum] Re: [OT] Battlestar Galactica...

ANy ISP's newsgroups are plain horrible for retention, completion, &
speed.

With Road Runner Business CLass I pull basically what Kevin gets. I
use giganews.com and use Newsrover as a client.

Kevin, I'd say we are almost on the same page speed wise as usually I
can download a full dvd (DVD5) movie in about an hour & fifteen
minutes, and about an hour fourty five for a DVD9 disc.

Newsrover also allows a search feature to locally search the
newsgroups, and a specific MP3 search server which is real nice when
you have a song in your head. Newsrover is also NZB compatable.

Even better than newsrovers search feature I use www.binsearch.net to
find any major size movies, games, software, in a convenient NZB
attachment, then let newsrover download them all in 1 click. The run
quickpar to check file integrity, extract, & burn.

Glad to see someone else uses the newsgroups out there, was beginning
to wonder if anyone else used them anymore.
