Re: [DMCForum] Re: Sirius radio..

It's funny how cognizant you become of thick overhead trees and highway
overpasses after you have a satellite radio for a week or so.  I find my
self speeding under overpasses so I don't run out of buffer (it seems
like I have to be completely obscured for at least 2 seconds before the
audio cuts out).

I listen to 104 Raw Dog Comedy and 105 Laugh Break about 90% of the time
I'm on the road, and on some of the recorded-live standup I've heard a
few iffy edits (laughs cut off abruptly to silence), but nothing too
crazy and I've never really worried about sound quality when it comes to
talk radio...  That's why they use AM so much.

I really hate the commercials too.  I'd probably never change the
station if it weren't for commercials and DJ chatter.  Luckily, it seems
that they only play commercials (GoToMyPC, Nevada Incorporation Network,
PartyPoker.com, etc) on the talk stations (comedy, sports, Howard, etc),
but the music stations kill me with the DJs and station identifier.  And
yes, the limited availability of stations in web streaming is annoying
too...  I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Regards,
Jon Heese
