Yep, seen of those in person and it is just funky.  Unfortunately it's not
an SUV so people won't bash it or call it selfish.

International (of HD commercial truck and semi fame) came out with a 
consumer pickup called the CXT a couple years ago that I believe is 
bigger than the Excursion:

Plus, I think Marc meant that as time went on, the vehicles would have 
to keep getting bigger as more people demanded the biggest thing on the 
road.
