RE: [DMCForum] Re: another eBay De Lorean...

Where do you see the single piece arm rests?  This is almost exactly how my
car should look if it were in one piece and I finished restoring it.  It's
also very close in VIN; only eleven higher than mine.  Quite possibly built
on the same day and rode over on the same shipment.

This is a really odd car. The only things so far that I can see back
it's low VIN # are the fender/door misalignment, the center console
graphic, windshield antenna, wheel paint, and the door pull straps.

Otherwise, it's other features don't match up with it's production #.
No clock, new style ashtray, single piece arm rests, the parking brake
graphic, and later style throttle spool.

Before bigging, I'd want to first see a close up of the VIN plate, and
some documentation of any kind. You are right, Eric, that we shouldn't
let our own opinions of something get in the way of someone else. And I
certainly understand if someone were to insert a typo into the
description. After all, hey, it happens. But this seller has "0"
feedback, no history of him/her on the DML, and some odd
inconsistancies about the car. I think that a bit more information on
this car should be provided. Especially because I'm curious about never
seeing one like this before...
