We're singing from the same song sheet - It was an open ended question
to illustrate the point that although the vette  might give more bang
for the buck, sometimes only the best will do, especially in supercar
terms. The Zonda is twice the price of a Lambo and for some that means
it must be twice as good. It -IS- a better car, but with that much more?

With a car like that it's not worth buying a new one. Unless it's a
K-series engined Elise in which case get ready to do the head gasket.
Remember Lotus is (was?) owned by GM.... lots of off-the-shelf parts and
if the VX220 ever found its way across the pond, it's basically the same
car.

Yep, same engine in the Ford GT (and Clarkson't bought one of those and
has constantly moaned bout it ever since - not because of the drive but
because the alarm keeps going off and Ford are incapable of fixing it)

No. The R34 is much bigger than the 200SX although in the right light,
they do look similar. The dead giveaway on a Skyline is the 4 round rear
lights. And the R35 is a completely different car to the R31-34 which
all have the seminal RB2xDETx engine. (RB20DET to RB26DETT) turbocharged
inline 6's

I'd have a skyline in a heartbeat
