RE: [DMCForum] Too many hobbies; is it just me?

Yup.  Can't even begin to list all the ways I agree with you...

OK, I know I'm in the company of fellow geeks here, so let me ask: Am
I the only person who feels constantly overwhelmed with hobbies and
toys? Really; It's like the fun gets sucked out of the things I used
to enjoy and they become a chore. I've got hobbies such as:

1. DeLorean maintenance. I have a drawer with somewhere near a
thousand bucks in new parts I have yet to find time to install.

2. Hovercraft construction. I'm building a 20 foot hovercraft. Been
building it since late '99. It should have been done by now. Hoping
for next summer?

3. Home theater. Everything here is mostly done the way I like it. Now
I don't have time to enjoy it.

4. Home automation. Again, countless dollars in new gear sitting
around and lots of ideas swirling in my head, but I can't find time to
do anything with it all.

5. My web site. Some sections (theater, hovercraft) are years out of
date.

6. Computers, and all that implies.

7. Had a reef aquarium. Sold that to free up time for other things.

Anyone else have too many hobbies and not enough time for them? Or,
hobbies that turn into chores?

-Ryan
