[DMCForum] Are We Still On 2nd Amendment Controversy?

Been away for a couple of days prepping the church for all-day
childcare so I'm not sure what the controversy de jour is, but:

Among the items cleared out was a reproduction 1908 Sears catalogue.
Pages 703-735 cover guns (shotguns, rifles, pistols, revolvers),
thence ammunition to page 741. By comparison, there are only 4 pages
of men's hats (and only 2 of men's trusses). Obviously the American
love affair with firearms goes way back.

BTW: in 1908 $725 bought a nice starter house, completely assembled
with 2 coats of paint on the front door.
