[DMCForum] Holding on to old cars.

FWIW, I still have the same car I drove in high
school.

Never really thought much of it.

1966 Mustang..  with a carburetor that I need to
rebuild every 3 years.

Speaking of which, I had not driven the Mustang in
about a month.  Took it out this weekend, had to let
it crank for 30 seconds before it would catch.  Once I
got it going, it ran like crap until it got warmed up.
Drove it about 60 miles, let it sit for a few hours. 
When I started it again, it caught right away but
still ran like crap till it warmed up.  60 miles home.
 Burned about 7 gallons of fuel, 17mpg is not so bad
with the top down I guess.

On the other hand, DMC 6049 which has not run in
almost 3 years...  I put a battery charger on it, and
it cranked over instantly...  Ah, Fuel Injection.  :)
