The only people who ever mention soft camshafts are DeLorean owners.
They're Red Herrings -- do not exist. Clogged oil passages do exist,
but all PRV camshaft lobes are made from the same hardened steel, B27
and B28.

Run a 30 weight oil and keep it clean, and you'll never have a
camshaft problem (assuming timing chain tensioners are OK).
