There are plenty of frames for sale you know,
when I was at DMCH they had them stacked up all over the place.
Why not use one of those if you need one?
The frames we have had lasted for over 20 years, I am sure a new one will
too.
...and since you have it out you can give it an extra coat for protection.

Hey, I think the stainless frame is bad ass, but that's a lot of bread for
something
you can't really see or know is there.
Besides, didn't the builders decide against using a stainless frame because
it proved
to not be as durable in the extreme cold weather and would crack?

I think that if a new frame should be made, it should be something like
carbon fiber
or aluminum, or in a way to reduce the weight of the car.

What is the weight difference of the stainless frame as compared to the
stock?

If I could do something radical, I would remake the frame and the underbody
from carbon fiber - then you have done something wicked.
Using today's composites and fibers, you could easily make the frameless car
that
DeLorean originally wanted to do.
