RE: [DMCForum] Re: Was terrible gigantic SUV's then tiny Civics, now a rant

Well here in central Florida we have the I4 corridor, Interstate 4 runs
coast to coast.  It is a very busy packed road and I travel it almost daily.
So as an SUV or Truck driver I should stay in the middle or slow lane going
80 MPH in a 70 MPH speed limit so you can run in the FAST lane just because
you have a smaller car?  There will be miles of backed up traffic in all
lanes moving along in a nice pack.  I will be keeping a safe distance
between myself and the car in front of me, but doing so gives this nice
little pocket for someone who needs to go 82 MPH in a 70 MPH zone.

So I ask again, why if I am in a pack of vehicles running along at a nice
clip does some punk need to zip out from behind me and pass, then cut me
off?  I am not talking about me lingering in the passing lane and someone
decides to pass me that doesn?t piss me off, it is the cutting it so close
that I have to slam on my brakes and screw the person now behind me.

If the damn SUV's would get their ignorant asses out of the fast
lane, and into the lane they belong in when they are not passing,
then the problem would be minimized. Cars wouldn't need to zip
around them, they could use the passing lane for what it was
intended for.    To pass the slow drivers.

This is just the aftereffects of how ignorant drivers, coupled with
SUV's are wrecking havoc on our roads.

Not trying to rant, or sound like a smart ass, but it is true. Same
goes for the cars that ride in the slow lane. I just wanted to get a
SUV jab in when I saw the oppurtunity.
