If you know where the circuit splits, you could see
which branch gets hot..

Also, Did you just run your hand along the harness
looking for any nicks or cuts?  Maybe a screw
penetrated the harness somewhere.

I have not looked @ the schematics in a while, but
recall the "hot" leg goes in to the doors, and the
lights are switched by ground..  So, you could remove
the T panel, and disconnect the wire harness for the
doors.  This may isolate the problem so you know if it
is in the doors or not.
