It's on my list, right after "Neuromancer", and "Zero Count". Right 
now I'm working on "Crash: A Novel" by J.G. Ballard. Strange, but a 
great book. The best melding of sex & violence that I've ever read. 
Excellent comparison writing of sexual intercourse, to catastrophic 
automobile accidents.

Makes me now wonder. Are some people more intimate with their cars 
when they polish and detail them, or when they're in the bedroom with 
their partners? Somehow after reading this, I think the cars are 
winning out...
