How is not understanding a potential risk keeping us safe?  Wasn't there a
mention not long ago about how re-using copper washers led to engine fires?

I've submitted this to the DML before, but it was rejected in the
interest of keeping cars safe.

If you were to use a thin plank of wood, to prevent any damage to the
underbody, perhaps you could trip the inertia switch by hitting the
underbody behind it with a 2lb. sledge hammer...
