RE: [DMCForum] DMC Trans strength?

I did double check that, and there are still places selling the LSD though.
On investigation, the place that Martin was looking at for the input shafts
also has:

- improved first and second gears available
- LSD's
- A new .75:1 fifth gear instead of the .82:1

Of course, that will add about $4k to the project... but it would be the
most DeLorean-ish option.  My goal is more to improve than replace.  I want
to use as many original components as possible.

Or..  I think Kennedy makes an adapter so you can bolt
it to a Porsche trans..

Another idea may be to use a modified lotus trans.

Keep in mind, the DMC trans is *NOT* LSD..  Although
there were some LSD's made for them (by Quaffie,
maybe??) they are not available..  Putting that much
power through one wheel is probably not a good idea.
