You probably won't notice any cuts until you wash or get some kind of parts
cleaner or gasoline on your hands.  One day I thought everything went very
well until I washed my hands and found about five tiny cuts.

It's not just the doors, but any of the panels and is not unique to the De
Lorean.

Yes that is exactly what most people do, I am lucky to never have had
my hands in the doors yet.
