RE: [DMCForum] Re: At least Auto related

I live in my 03 Ram 2500, and it is the best built truck I have ever
owned.  I get 15 mpg highway, but don't ask me to talk about towing mpg.
That?s why I am switching to the 05 Ram 2500 Cummings HO Diesel.  The
newest version is around 320 HP and 600 FT/lbs or torque.  Plus with a
cheap plug in chip programmer I found I can add about 100 hp and 125
ft/lbs of torque.  All with around mid teens towing loaded.

My biggest problem with Nissan products, of which I personaly have 2, is

the finish of the interior and the price of the common parts.  For
example rear rotors on my Zx run about $140 for my Porsche thay are $75
and that is a disk with a parking drum inside.  A rebuilt alternator on
the Z is $99 +$50 core, a lifetime warranty rebuilt alternator on my
Porsche is only $60 +$30core.

Personaly I would get another ford powerstroke.  For some reason the
F250 and F350 seem to get slightly better quality parts over the F150,
maybe it has to do with the fact they know construction guys live in the

trucks.
