What most people do not realize about crude oil or gasoline prices is 
that the cost of pumping the crude oil out for the ground has not 
changed in the last 2 years.


What has changed is the price the non competitive oil produces sell 
their oil for.  Actually,  it is the middle men that drive up future 
contract prices.  It is not the producers.  


THE OIL market is clear being manipulated by someone.   As a 
consequence, the US oil companies are making "windfall profits" !!  Hey, 
remember when this type of price increased occurred during the fake oil 
crises of the 70s and there was a windfall profits tax?   Why don't we 
have one today?  Oh,  YES we have an oil president and oil VP.  


Well, aren't  the US and British OIL companies 49% owners in mideast oil 
 countries?   Hmm?  Let me see here.  Yes the Arabs are making more 
money, 49% is going back to the US and British oil companies.    Russia, 
is also making a ton of money being the 3rd largest oil producer in the 
world.  


There is no oil shortage today,  there was no oil shortage in the 1970s. 
 AND THERE WAS NO OIL SHORTAGE IN 1920.   (Go read the papers from them 
about the fake  oil shortage and price manipulation that took place back 
then.  YOu can find it on the net.)

What we have is GREED at work and nothing else.
