[DMCForum] Re: The ongoing saga of clutch replacement

Ryan - The torque spec for the flywheel to crankshaft bolts is 41 -
45 ft-lbs (don't forget the loctite), and the clutch pressure plate
to flywheel bolts are at 15 ft-lbs.  Also use loctite on the outside
diameter of the pilot bearing into the crankshaft.  Careful to avoid
getting the loctite into the bearing in any way.  The torque pattern
for flywheel and pressure plate both is to cross over diametrically
in even increments until tight.

My personal copy of the workshop manual is also photocopied, but may
be a "first generation" copy as it is pretty good.  It too is a bit
grimy ... in use since 1988.

Good job on those TOBY-TAB's!!!
