Farrar, remember that for the cost of paying someone to
repair your car, you can usually buy the tools and do it
yourself cheaper & better.  You need to start off with the
basic stuff first before this can apply.  Among all the
online help available, you shouldn't have a problem learning
what you need.  The main thing is, do you have a place to
work on the car without pissing off the neighbors?  And can
you afford to have the car sit for a week at a time while
you are waiting for parts?
