I have tried a number of carbs on it.  I am running a
stock one now that was built by "pony carburetors". 
It runs better than before, where I could not keep it
running when the engine was hot after sitting for a
while.

The engine always starts right up, but it idles like
crap, and the exhaust smells awful...  Maybe it is
just that I don't understand this "old fashioned"
technology.. Although, the mustang was the car I
learned most of my wrenching on.
