When I was at school, I took (and passed) my full amateur radio licence.
One of the rules is that conversation topics are completely free, but
you aren't allowed to discuss illegal activities, religion or politics.

Now I know why

Jim, I suddenly realised the other day how we might convince Bill of
this torque vs horsepower thing. How do you drive your car when the
clutch is on the way out and slipping - you shift to a higher gear so
you can drive at higher revs at light throttle. This results in being
able to accellerate whilst putting less torque through the clutch.
Energy transfer is the same as using a lower gear and more throttle -
but when you can't do that...
