I thought I'd write this to help explain things to Marc, Bill, and others
who seem to be missing the point.  (And yes, I did just write it -- it's not
the cut-and-paste you so vehemently object to, Marc)...  =)

There are elections in my neighborhood this November for Housing Corporation
president.  Since the incumbent is running as a Republican, I will be
running as a Democrat.  I started my day with a big plate of Kerry Waffles,
then put on my flip-flops and went to go campaign.
