Per capita (proportinately), Israel's experience with terrorism is
many times worse than ours. Has been for decades. Yet you don't see
them running around like chickens with heads cut off. Makes us look
rather novice in comparison.

Israel is also surrounded by countries publicly committed to its
elimination. Has been since 1948. Compare to our borders with Canada
(longest unprotected border in the world) and Mexico (illegal
immigration problem, but no safety threat). Why are we suddenly
supposed to quake in our boots?

Don't forget the US *DOES* grow its own terrorists. Timothy McVeigh
was as white as me. The Weathermen and SDS were white college students
(mostly). Randy Weaver and David Koresh -- angry white men armed to
the teeth -- were threatening violence against their own government.
KKK and other white supremacists have been *MORE* violent and cruel
over the years than Muslim extremists currently beheading hostages.
James Earl Ray, Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby, John Hinckley Jr --
white assassins all (Sirhan Sirhan was a "damn Arab").

Does violence against women count as domestic terror?
